We have a weakness for the smell of cookies baking in our house.
Good thing I ran across this recipe somewhere….we’ve been making them so long I don’t even know where I saw them first.
They are delicious, healthy and SOOOOOO easy to make!
They are literally a 2 ingredient cookie. They are perfect with just banana and oats.
But we like to add a little ‘sumpin sumpin’ to ours.
All you need are two large ripe bananas- the kind you are about ready to throw out- and a cup of oats. The additional ingredients are up to you!
I usually like to keep them simple. Today we made them with a sprinkle of Cinnamon and a sprinkle of Chia Seeds.
I could literally eat these for breakfast. And you know what?? If I did, it would be freaking okay!
Even if I ate 8 cookies I would basically be eating a banana and some oats.
You can’t go wrong. They’re healthy and everyone in my house LOVES them!
Give them a try!
The recipe is simple:
2 Ripe Bananas
1 cup Oats
1 Tbsp of Cinnamon
1 Tsp Chia Seeds
Take two ripe bananas and mix well with one cup of oats. Sprinkle in cinnamon and chia seeds to taste.
Place on a WELL greased pan (make sure to spray it down or you will have a huge mess on your hands – take my word for it).
Bake in the oven at 350° for 15 mins. Let them cool until they are able to be eaten.
We like ours warm out of the oven.
I’ve been told they will last up to 2 days in the fridge…..they don’t last long enough in our house to test that!
We have also made them with chocolate chips or walnuts.
Have you tried them before?? I’d love to know!
